Kwan...she's in!
Can I just tell you how relieved I am! Just a little bit ago she was cleared to compete in a third Olympic Games.
In the session where she had to prove to doctors and officials she was ready, Kwan skated her short and free skate back to back. It was also revealed that her free skate music will be Prelude in C Minor by Rachmaninoff. In the session she hit various triple jumps including a Triple Lutz-Double Toe-Double Toe Combination that drew applause from Rafeal Artunian, her coach.
Kwan was not perfect however, she completely omitted the Triple Loop in the free skate and her final jump a Triple Lutz was downgraded to a double. She also fell on her double axel in her short program. After the programs, she did two beautiful double axles back-to-back.
Label It:
2006 Olympics,
Michelle Kwan

Axel is the jump, not Axle.
