Under the weather...

Stéphane Lambiel is continuing to deal with an abductor injury that he sustained at the 2008 World Figure Skating Championships last March in Goteborg.

He's been in Germany seeing a sports medicine specialist who is suggesting that Stéphane take a few weeks off.

His new programs aren't finished and his training is behind schedule so his participation in the Grand Prix series is in question. Stephane is scheduled to compete at Skate Canada in Ottawa and the Trophée Eric Bompard Cachemire in Paris. Skate Canada is only the second event in the series which may not give him enough time to prepare.

Good luck on your recovery Stéphane.

Oh, I hope he has a good recovery and that he's able to make his events. Even so, I'd rather see him healthy and prepared in January than hurting and out of shape in October.
