Sorry Kansas City...sources close to the U.S. Figure Skating's Board of Directors announced today that Greensboro, North Carolina will host the 2011 U.S. National Figure Skating Championships. The decision was said to have been decided upon late Tuesday night.This will be the first time that Greensboro has hosted the event and will be the first major Championships in the city for 35 years. The event will be in Greensboro Coliseum.
A news conference is scheduled today at 12:00 p.m. ET to officially announce the selection.
