Race is on!

It seems like there is constantly Olympic Bid news happening. As we prepare for Vancouver 2010 and look to the future for Sochi 2014, things are already underway for the selection of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.

Today, France announced it will put forward a bid city for the 2018 Games. Grenoble, Annecy, and Nice are on the shortlist.

Other cities in the hunt for 2018 include Pyeongchang, South Korea; Munich, Germany; Santiago, Chile; Geneva, Switzerland; Tromsoe, Norway; and Reno/Lake Tahoe (shared bid), Nevada, USA.

The International Olympic Committee will choose the host city in 2011. Who do you think should get it?

As an American...my heart says Reno/Tahoe would be great.

But...okay, you have to admit Winter Olympics on the French Riviera...tempting! I say Nice!
