interesting indeed. she was always so coltish, even when she won her olympic gold. but, i think that's part of what made her so endearing...almost as if you felt she had worked hard or built what she had, rather than just being handed it via talent (ie: the true baby ballerinas, such as cohen or nari-nam). yes, her athleticism seemed to be a God-given talent, but not her grace/artistry. i miss her on the scene, and wish she had made a cleaner exit...rather than sort of awkwardly phasing out after her body-type changed.
